Our Aims
Some of the Aims of Hay Inc are:
A hands on training module that would cover all the necessary skills of stockmanship in both sheep and cattle and farming skills.
Provide base line education / experience for young people to use as a spring board to a rural career.
To introduce young men and women into the rural workforce with a short course/ experience in rural education conducted in the Hay area.
To provide a network between district landholders, employers and trainees, and to provide ongoing mentoring for the trainees into the future.
Improve recognition and educate on the importance of food and fibre production.
Introduce Hay to city based students and their families and promote industry, tourism, education and enhance the social fabric of Hay and surrounding district. Which in turn will assist with the long term viability of the town and its population.
